My collection of Journals (these are just a few) 🙂
It’s no secret that I love to journal, I’ve mentioned it numerous times on my blog that is how I start my day. Journaling helps me get out any repressed thoughts, sort out my mind, and helps me get my to do list in order. However, not all journaling styles look the same. When most people think of journaling they think of putting a pen to paper and writing about thoughts or events, but journaling doesn’t have to be that way. There are so many different creative journaling styles that can fit everyone. There are way more than 3 journaling styles to choose from, but I’ve narrowed it down to three.
3 Types Of Journaling Styles You Need To Know About
I recently discovered bullet journaling through Youtube. I love the organized and unique layouts of these journals. Bullet Journaling is a customizable journaling system to help you accomplish your task and goals. This type of journaling is perfect for a person likes simple easy to follow list. However, if you search Instagram and Pinterest you can get as creative as you like with your Bullet Journal. I would also like to mention that you can start Bullet Journal using any notebook, but what makes Bullet Journaling so special is that it has it’s very own products to help you get the best Bullet Journaling experience. The notebooks lay flat, and pen can not puncture the paper or leave pen marks. Here are is an example of a Bullet Journal:
2. Bible Journaling
This type of journaling is exactly what it sounds like. You can create art on the pages of your Bible, the art work and writing can be done in the margins of the Bible. There are specialized Bibles that make margins large enough to accommodate your artwork. I love how you can use Bible verses as inspiration for the art that you will create in the margins. This type of journaling is perfect for someone who wants to get inspiration in their spiritual journey or get a deeper understanding of their Bible. It also great for meditative purposes.
3. “Life Design” Journaling
Life design journaling is a prompted journaling style. Each page has a prompt to help you organize your goals, thoughts, task, and life. This type of journal is perfect for people who want to start journaling but does not know where to start.
Personalize Your Journal
The part of each of these journaling styles is that you are free to get as creative as you would like. Here are a list of ways to make your journal your own.
